What does a Fundraising Champion do?

As a Champion, you are committed to raising awareness of Alzheimer’s and related cognitive illnesses and furthering the mission of Voices of Alzheimer’s. Your work supports Voices of Alzheimer’s through personal donations and fundraising events, advocating for change to policy makers, and educating and spreading the work that we do every day with friends, family, and your community.

Quick steps you can take:

Donations to Voices of Alzheimer’s go directly towards implementing initiatives, putting on events, running advocacy, and supporting our members. We encourage you to reach out to interested organizations, individuals, or groups to support Voices of Alzheimer’s.

Could you be a VoA Fundraising Champion?

·       Make a list of people in your network to reach out to. Email may be the best way to reach out but take a note of those who may be more accessible through other means. Email your list and encourage them to join Voices of Alzheimer’s. Click here to see a sample email you can use.

·       Reach out to your contacts not accessible by email or social media. Use a method that works best for them, whether that may be phone, text, letter, or other methods.
